I’ve been in love with design since I was a kid. Back then, it wasn’t about the latest trends or buying what everyone else had—It was about making the things I wanted to see in the world. My parents couldn’t always buy me new clothes for my Barbie dolls, so I’d dig through old clothes around the house. Cutting, sewing, even painting her shoes with nail polish to match. That’s when I first realized I had a passion for turning scraps into something fresh, something that felt right.After spending years in the design industry, I was frustrated as hell. I couldn’t stand how most agencies over complicated everything. Piling on the corporate red tape until it felt like we were spinning our wheels for no good reason.I knew I could do better. So I put my money where my mouth is and decided to go out on my own. I had everything I needed to be a success. Guts, drive, and a vision. I wasn’t going to let anyone else hold me back.Fast forward a few years later and more than my share of challenges and setbacks (Let’s just say I’m not cut out for the traditional 9-5 grind) things finally started to take off in my freelance business. Suddenly, companies I dreamed of working for; Google, Facebook, Amex--we’re trusting me to get the job done. But, my biggest accomplishment isn’t a single project, or even a client. It’s the freedom I’ve built for myself. At Core Creates I’m building something different. I want to create brands that people look up to. With a team of skilled and passionate people, for ambitious business owners like myself, who’ve fought hard to make their dreams a reality.
